Sooo, I'm all moved in at Truman. Currently its still Truman Week around here which is designed for the poor freshmen schmucks like me that can't find their way around and to fill us all with Truman spirit and excitement....woo...(can you feel the sarcasm??) Being a resident of the glamourous Ryle Hall, we got the low down yesterday on the various themes, hall colors, hall names, etc. that are supposed to pump us all up so that we can run around the campus and collect spirit tickets for our dorm. Of course, whichever dorm collects the most wins the much sought after "college cup". which is just a cup, just a plain cup thats going to sit in a musty case for the rest of the year. But among all the silly dorm propoganda we celebrate things like the color blue, the early nineties, and our dorm's beloved mascot Wally the Whale (other dorms have a toaster and a banana). This year Ryle has decided its theme to be 'Bringing Back Sexy' which unfortunately was decided on before someone had the brilliant idea of 'Whales on a Plane' Fuck yea. I totally dig the unofficial one better, and would make such a killer sequel to Snakes on Plane. Which btw, is totally awesome and lives up to its hype because it has:

    1.) some sweet motherfucking snakes

    2.) a big plane filled with lots of cliched obnoxious stereotypes

    3.) Samuel L. Jackson
